Maggie Baxley, RDN, MDA Registered Dietitian
Maggie Baxley graduated for The University of Alabama with a bachelors in Human Environmental Sciences focused in Nutrition. Then, she went to Utah State University to participate in their distance dietetic internship for 1 year (focused on studying all realms of nutrition – clinical, foodservice, and wellness/ outpatient facilities). Her Bachelors and internship where six years of studied time. Finally, she graduated from Utah State with a Master’s in Dietetic Administration where she was able to study abroad and focused on the Mediterranean diet, which was an additional year of time.
Maggie has worked in California at Hemet Hospital with critical care (ICU, Medical Surgical, Gestational Diabetes, and very little pediatric), Murrieta, California at DaVita Dialysis with chronic kidney disease and renal failure, and now, Honolulu, HI for ‘Ekahi Wellness focused in Diabetes management. This is accumulation of six years of clinical experience.
